Assawoman Wildlife Area & Canal

            Your choice of taking a trip up the Assawoman Canal to White’s Creek or the Salt Pond, staying in the Wildlife Park & Refuge, or even venturing up Derrickson’s Creek or Miller’s Creek to Camp Barnes. These tours are well suited for paddlers of all ages and experience levels. You will see an abundance of wildlife, including ducks, geese, blue herons, osprey, and possibly even whitetail deer (most likely on late afternoon trips). These trips will average about 1.5 hours on the water, and can be scheduled anytime to best suit your schedule.

Sunset Cruise

            Enjoy the peace and serenity of the Assawoman Bay or the Indian River at sunset. Wildlife is abundant as the light fades and Mother Nature shows her beauty. This tour is suited for paddlers of all ages and experience levels. This tour is approx. 1 hour. The start time for this tour will vary with the sunset. We will be returning in the dark. Light sticks will be provided. Due to the popularity of this tour, it may be necessary to combine groups (please feel free to let us know if you do not want to be combined with others). If we combine groups, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Ocean Surf & Paddle

            Get instruction on launching and landing through the surf zone, play in the waves, or just cruise with the dolphins. Due to lifeguard regulations, this tour must be concluded by 9am in the morning, and can start after 5pm in the afternoon. Some paddling experience is recommended, but nor necessary. Average swimming ability is required. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 13. Expect to spend about 1.5 hours on the water.

Trap Pond State Park

            Enjoy the abundant wildlife that fresh water can provide. Cruise through the cypress swamps and under almost completely covered canopies of trees. Turtles and ducks are among the wildlife you will see. This tour is well suited for paddlers of all ages and experience levels. Due to the travel time involved, scheduling is more restrictive on this trip. We will arrive at our destination in approximately 50 minutes. You will enjoy about 1.5 hours on the water.

Assateague Island National Park

            Explore the marshes and creeks on Assateague Island. See the famous wild ponies that roam free. You could also see sitka and whitetail deer, ducks, geese, herons, and much more.  This tour is well suited for paddlers of all ages and experience levels. Due to the travel time involved, scheduling is more restrictive on this trip. We will arrive at our destination in approximately 40 minutes. You will enjoy about 1.5 hours on the water.
